Cleaning your bike

Because a waxed chain is completely dry, your entire drivetrain remains free of sticky residue, making your whole bike easy to clean. You’ll only need: A garden hose A bucket of soapy water A sponge A towel To clean the chain, you don’t need degreaser. That won’t do anything But your wax heater will. It will deep clean your chain. Always start by removing the chain. In dry weather, re-wax when needed. In wet weather, re-wax after your ride to prevent rust. With the chain removed, wet your bike, clean it with soapy water, hose it down, and dry it with a towel. Since there’s no oil on the drivetrain, you can use the same towel for everything.
